About The Hocker Group
The Hocker Group (THG) is a vertically integrated real estate development, acquisition, property management and leasing team with a broad focus across multiple asset classes. Founded in 2004, THG has carried out over $500 million in real estate transactions on behalf of THG and its investors. Our capital consists of a blend between high net worth individuals, family office and institutional equity partners.
D. Talmage Hocker, Sr.
Mr. Hocker has been active in the industry for 40 years and has developed, owned or managed over 16 million square feet of property. After 20 years of working with his father, a former Chairman of ICSC, Mr. Hocker founded THG in 2004. Mr. Hocker is a Member of the Public Buildings Reform Board, which carries out a statutory requirement of quantifying, underwriting and selling federal agency owned real estate for the federal government. Additionally, Mr. Hocker is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute and Real Estate Roundtable in Washington DC. Mr. Hocker is a Member of the Board of Trustees at Kentucky Wesleyan College and serves on the Mockingbird Valley Preservation Alliance.
D. Talmage Hocker, Jr.
Mr. Hocker joined THG in 2013 where he focuses primarily on deal sourcing, finance and acquisition activities. Prior to working at THG, Mr. Hocker served as a staffer for three years in the United States Senate in Washington, D.C.. Mr. Hocker holds his real estate license in the State of Kentucky and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Hocker attended the University of Kentucky.
Aaron Breeden
Mr. Breeden is the Director of Acquisitions and Development at THG. Mr. Breeden joined THG in 2024 after working as the Executive VP & Head of Capital Markets at HUTTON based in Chattanooga, TN where he led efforts in sourcing lending solutions, arranging and structuring venture activities, among other things. Most recently, Mr. Breeden served as the CFO of a subsidiary of HUTTON, Mod Wash, which Mr. Breeden assisted in growing from a handful of locations to nearly 100 in just a few short years. Prior to HUTTON, Mr. Breeden was a member of Wells Fargo’s Special Situations Group in Tampa, Florida. Thereafter, Mr. Breeden worked for Nicol Investment Company as Director of Acquisitions, Dispositions, and Finance. Mr. Breeden attended Sewanee: The University of the South, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and played Varsity Basketball. Mr. Breeden later attended law school at Miami College of Law in Miami, Florida.
Jennifer Sinner
Ms. Sinner is the Director of Property Management and Office Administrator at THG. Ms. Sinner joined THG in 2009 after gaining a decade of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and property management disciplines across both the real estate and the landscaping services industries. Since joining THG, Ms. Sinner has managed over one million square feet of retail, office and multifamily space. Ms. Sinner is a graduate of Southwestern Michigan College.
